The Meaning of Nyepi
The Balinese Day of Silence Nyepi is the Hindu New Year celebration in Bali, Indonesia, and one of the most unique and sacred observances in the world. Unlike typical New Year celebrations filled with festivities, Nyepi is a "Day of Silence" marked by meditation, self-reflection, and strict prohibitions.
